Your connection is slow. JavaScript heavy sites may timeout for you. I know this happens to me when my monthly broadband limit is exceeded. Then I have trouble loading such sites as DeviantArt and Facebook.

To remedy this, you should try and close down anything else thats currently using the internet, such as MSN, Skype, uTorrent etc

Another option is to disable JavaScript, which will means parts of the site wont load, but the page will load text content etc.

I'm currently using Firefox, and can't view it. How do i remove MSN, Skype etc? I'm not even using them.

No need to remove anything. My site is not very javascript heavy. The site is down due to hardware failure at the datacenter. They are currently working hard to restore it. Here's the whole process that has been going on:

Reboot on Cloud Agata 00:00 p.m. UTC-5 (In Progress)
Affecting System - Cloud Agata | Priority - Medium
In order to apply IP aliases changes, we are required to reboot the cloud.

This reboot will be performed at midnight, now downtime period is expected (maintenance task), it takes just a couple of minutes to get back online (5 minutes)

Some high loads were experienced in this Cloud, this is a normal effect caused by the VM adding more Nodes to its core, this process takes a few hours but is not completed. And, in order to complete the process, a reboot is necessary,

Update the reboot is in progress.

Engineers found issues with the filesystem of centos which does not allow the VM to boot, they are now working at the the dc in order to fix this as quick as possible.

Update This message was received a few minutes ago: http://screensnapr.com/v/72bzcE.png

Update The Fsck was successful, now we are restoring the last backup point (made a few hours ago)

Chris, no, not what i am saying. I couldn't access it even days ago. I could with my other laptop, but not on this. Its nothing to do with your site being down.

To be honest, our client center is not javascript heavy at all and even the most slowest computers should be able to access it.

Yea, but i cant :?<br /><br />-- 15 Jan 2011, 15:58 --<br /><br />Yea, but i cant :?

If you can access the site on one computer, but not another. Its a computer problem. Not a site problem. Cause if it was a site problem it wouldn't be working for anyone.

It is a site problem, as some hosts tend block some people with the firewall, happens alot, thats why joel could access it on a different computer as that computer had a different ip

Once the servers are back to normal, I will be sure to check with the server techs to make sure your IP is not blocked out. Although, if your IP is blocked, you wouldnt be able to access your site or anything to deal with my hosting.

Or any other sites on the server.

True, so it must be a computer related issue.

Many Sites are currently having alot of problems.
A lot of hosts and servers are currently going on and off.

Because vps.net is a very large datacenter that supports many sites, and the problem is with them.

Have you tried using a different browser on the computer you're having problems on?

Try Google Chrome, it may seem stupid but Firefox loads a lot of background processes and your virtual memory might be overwhelmed when trying to load these and an image/javascript heavy site.

If not, when I get home later on I'll PM you and try and help. I should be able to help.

Ok thanks. I will try later<br /><br />-- 16 Jan 2011, 12:29 --<br /><br />Because I am on my phone now

Using a different browser did not do this. Since I repair computers, this simply means a corrupted or deleted file in your system32 folder. You are going to need your boot disk to fix this. (You may barrow a disk from a friend). You must make sure the disk is the same OS and same bit as your current OS(Operating System).

There is NO other way to fix this other then a disk. (If you don't have a disk, you will have to use any other OS disk and then you will have to reformat your HDD, which means losing everything on the HDD)

If you don't want to lose anything, make sure to get a disk and then at that screen, press "R" for repair.
