Not a big fan of comic-turned-into-movies. And as usual, it lacks the enthusiasm for a first time movie watcher who has no clue of the comic.

Movie is destroying it. I prefer a video game it's better!

I'll at least give it a chance and watch it before I judge it. Because I love comic book movies, even the ones that do suck.

I like my topic better, even if nobody else did. Movie starts next week, and I am pumped. The one last movie I need to see for a while. I think it's going to be very good. Can't wait for The Avengers either. BTW, I've heard there is going to be a teaser at the end for said movie.

This movie looks amazing! Definitely going to see it in theaters.

Marvel never ceases to amaze me with their movies, compared to DC who can't even make a good character into a mediocre movie.

For those that think Marvel is killing the comic image... That's the point, it's why they're doing it, to appeal to more than just comic fans. They are trying to explain from a realistic standpoint how a super hero could exist.

And yet they need to realize that realism has no place in Comics. Its why they are around. To ESCAPE realism. By the way, anybody ever see the original Captain America movie?

That's why there is still comic books. The fact is that they are doing this so that they will do good in the box office, so the general population will get into the movie, not just comic book fans.

I think everyone is forgetting about the money and the fact that comic books still exist.

Yeah I generally enjoy these movies, not much of a comic book type of guy but the marvel ones are usually alright if not pretty good for action movies.

Besides compared to the complete sheet that was the old superman movies no comic book movie can be that bad nowadays, right?

I don't think everybody is forgetting about comic books still existing. Otherwise you wouldn't see so many titles out there on the market. And what was wrong with the original 4 Superman films? Those are classics Gimgak.

Sorry, by "old" I meant 80s crap like Superman IV: Quest for Peace 😉

I've just finished playing the game. The trailer looks fantastic and I'd like to see the movie!

Oh come on, it wasn't that bad.

I really want to see this but I just have not found anybody to go with ):

Gonna go see it soon with one of my friends.....I hope it's as good as I've heard it is.

I've heard really negative things about the movie, although I have seen commercials for it but have no knowledge about Captain America whatsoever. From what I've heard, this movie is an insult. It seems like each time they make a superhero movie they screw up the actors so bad in a Marvel movie, the only movie of Marvel I ever enjoyed was Spiderman. Even now-a-days Marvel can't produce an equally good movie, but I don't even advise them making a movie based of a comic anyway. Once again, I have no knowledge about Captain America, but I didn't even know his actual name untill I saw it in a movie. The only time I've ever seen him is in a superhero book I had when I was about three. A lot of people are saying its an insult, and others think its really good, but I probably agree with the people who mainly think the movie is an insult. I'm not even trying to go against the movie, it's just that from what I've heard this movie really is a total failure.

Has a 66 on metacritic, considering most movies are around 50 that seems pretty good to me.
