Have you seen the new Captain Marvel? I thought it was pretty good, to be honest. Was pretty cool as well, what do you all think?

I haven't seen Captain Marvel but I do plan on watching it. I definitely plan on seeing it before the next Avengers movie comes out since they are interconnected.

I didn't enjoyed it. I am not fan of female superheroes. I watched it for sole reason of seeing the connection between the movies. But that's just me.

What's wrong with female superheroes?

I thought it was great! It probably wasn't the best Marvel movie, but still very good. I'm looking forward to seeing her kick Thanos' butt, and I loved seeing Samuel L. Jackson baby-talk a cat.

I haven't seen it and even though I'm female I'm not a fan of female superheros. Have they oversexualized this one?

Not my fav Movie I liked Wonder Woman better. Shazam seems more better

I'm hoping to see it in the weekend. It will be cool to see what all the hype is about the cat 😛

Don't have time to see things anymore

No, not sexualized at all. Her suit matches the mens' on her team, and the few times she's shown in "street" clothes, it's basically jeans and a t-shirt. She's easily the most powerful character in the Marvel cinematic universe and doesn't even have a romantic interest. It's great!

I still don't get the "I don't like female superheroes" statements. Sure, they have been overly-sexualized in the past, and some are wimpy or just plain useless, but that's changing! Little girls should have superheroes like Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel to look up to just like little boys have Superman, Spider-Man, The Hulk, and all the others. No offense, but I'm glad the call to make these movies isn't up to you guys. 😛 I'm loving seeing these bad-ass female heroes on the big screen!

I'm glad they didn't sexualize her. It's one reason I don't like looking at comic book females.

I'm also happy that you say it wasn't a sappy love story 😀
