Whats the hardest part about coding ?
I think it depends on the language. In general, constantly being faced with new conventions and the infinite range of possible new things to learn is both challenging and a ton of fun.

Do you know about GoLang? Have you tried to learn?
Lol, I have looked at it. I have a couple of friends in school who have looked at it in more depth than I have. I feel like I should give it another try sometimes.

What coding languages do you know?
A lot, and at this point I can pretty much pick up anything -- especially C-based languages. PHP was my first programming language, as web stuff is how I got into comp sci. I'm pretty good in Java, and I've played a little bit with the Android SDK. I use C++, C, C#, and Python at work all day. At my previous work, I had done a lot of ASP.NET over C#. For web stuff I write myself, I'm becoming a fan of Node.JS -- which allows you to write your backends in Javascript (as an alternative to, say, PHP). That's all the stuff I've worked with extensively.

Do you like gaming?
Favourite genre of music?
What do you do when you're not coding super awesome stuff? 😛

Yeah, I grab games off Steam every once in a while.

I don't really have a favorite genre, but some of my favorite artists right now are Twenty One Pilots, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Fall Out Boy, OK Go, and Streelight Manifesto.

For stuff I'm into, Chess is a really big pastime for me. I'm not very good though. I'm roughly 1100 rated.

Favorite game on Steam?
I've played through Portal 2 multiple times with friends, so I've got the most use out of that. Recently however, I really liked The Stick of Truth.

I regularly use Facebook, but that's about it.

What's your favorite forum software ?
In terms of the back end and functionality, I actually really like phpBB. At this point, it's getting to become a challenge to build a modern-looking style for it, but it's still possible. I think building a little more AJAX into the front-end would do phpBB some good.

XenForo is pretty good too. I think it has more options if you want a pretty looking style, but I don't necessarily think the functionality it provides is worth the cost.

vBulletin is crap, and for being paid software, the layout is built for styles that look like they're from 15 years ago. IPB is a good paid option at this point, I think.

It all depends on what you want. I think you can get all the same functionality out of most of it if you are wiling to work at it.

How did you learn coding?
Through books and trying stuff. At this point, I am able to learn new things through documentation and search engines.

How have you been? 🙂

What's your favourite thing about FP? (Whats made you keep on coming back for 7+ years?)

Whats the best female character in games in your opinion?
