So, I decided to try the free version of PHPBB - http://grievous.freephpbb3.com/index.php
When logged in, the category and boards are not there, and it says "Forum", and under it this board has no forums.

This all started when I deleted the default welcome category and board. >_< I tried on 2 different browsers, same thing happened.

It's because in your permissions, you have it so that reg. members cannot view boards, but guests can. You just need to check the permissions and it should be fine 🙂

Dunno how that happened.

I removed guests permissions, but it's still not showing.

You need to give the registered users group permission to see the forums.

ACP ---> Forums ---> Groups’ forum permissions ---> select registered users ---> Highlight all the forums ---> Either set a predfined role for each forum (Standard access + polls for example) or click advanced permissions and select the permissions you want ensuring that "Can see forum" is set to yes.

As well as the administration group from what I recall.

You don't have to aslong as you are in the registered users group and no permissions in the Admin group are set to never. All the Yes permissions for the registered users will affect the admins aswell. You only really need to edit the admin permissions to see the staff forums and so on or to allow you to post stickies and so on.

Now I know why we keep you around. 😛

Thankies Fowler, love ya. 😛
