Change DNS take a long time

I have a domain at 1&1 and I changed DNS to Goddady hosting. It's more than 48 hours and my domain haven't changed DNS. How long I have to wait?

Normally, it takes 24 hours but it can vary. I think it is a good idea to contact 1&1.

Before you do that, maybe you should clear your cache as it may just be you that it is not working for.

After waiting for a long time, I changed IP address instead of changing DNS and it works now.

It can take up to 3 or 4 days but normally its within a few hours (from my experiences).
