Change my online name?

I'm thinking of dropping the 'Flux' name and just using Jamie (as I use that on blogs, social media etc).

What do you think I should do?

There's a good chance I and others will still call you Flux, especially since most people know you by both names already.

Trust me, I still get GAK all the time. 😛

Haha! I may change over, it would be a lengthy process on all forums but I'm getting bored of Flux.

Yeah, it does take awhile to get every name changed. I'm still GAK on a few forums, and it was over a year ago that I changed. 😛

The only thing with using real names is that you will often run into issues where your name will already be taken and then that requires you having to stuff symbols or numbers in to still use your real name. If the forum allows for a display name that differs from the log in then that's fine otherwise you will end up with using usernames you might end up forgetting especially when dealing with forums you end up going inactive on for a while.

I personally believe in sticking to one name so I doubt I would ever change it but that's just me.

I've gone with Jamie. If Jamie is gone, I'll probably just go with something like Jamie D.
