changing you facebook display name

i have been trying since last few months to change my facebook display name to my website name. no luck for me. have you tried it or did change your display name?
i could only change my facebook account name, but still the display has not been changed.

any ideas on how to do it? i tried calling their 1-800- number but they dont have tech support on phone.

any suggestions, i have contacted them numerous ocassions but all i get is FAQs on how to change your name. :sad:

I have moved your topic to a more relevant forum. I understand that this issue is indirectly related to forum management because you are trying to change your facebook display name to the name of your website, but this is more a technical issue pertaining to a social media site than a forum management issue. In the future, please make a conscious effort to post new topics in the most relevant forum.

You can't. You really should have read the ToS before setting a username.

I swear you can, I thought I changed mine before... guess I didn't.

Account > Account Setting > Change Username.

Add your username, it can take up to a week to actually fully change to everyone due to there massive database.

I'm sure he means that if he already has a username, can he change it again and again. If not then, my bad.

BTW, if you do change it, note:

[potential username] is available. Remember, you can change your username only once. Are you sure you want to set [potential username] as your username?

i have changed my username.

what i want to do is change my Display name to Football Furor instead of my real name.

right now, when i post anything on facebook, my real name comes up instead of Football Furor. i tried changing my alternate name and even my full name. their automated system wont allow that change. i have contacted them many times, but havent been getting a response.

Well what I would do is, if you are making something for your forum, make a page, or group.

i do have a fan page for my forum. just the fact that being unable to change the display name is annoying.

i got the facebook id changed but cant change the display name.
