Well, I like drumming and have a FB page with 8,000 likes and not planning to stop. Nonetheless, I realize I can make money with hosting for a lot less. I mean, one reason is the motivation of the people coming in. People coming in are more likely to buy and buy quicker.

Therefore, I'm switching the drumming stuff to a hobby for now - with my day job doing the hosting (my new hosting forum and FB page for it).

O.K., have ever decided to change your money-making niche?

Pay attention to how much people are paying for ads on facebook and adwords. That tells you if it's worth staying with the niche.

Well, anything that pays off is going to cost. However, though, I've seen an art lesson Patreon making around $8,500 a month with around 200,000 leads on YouTube. In that case, a drum lesson niche, which I'm in, can make as much money as hosting - but probably hosting is easier to deal with, even though you pay way more for leads. It's like - if you have them (the hosting leads) it's a done deal - while drumming would require more work to get people to pay.

Now another theory might say you can make money with less leads with hosting - but I'm not sure on that.
