One of the Most over used chat words, lol lol lol or lawl..damn!

Ok i do use it some times..got annoyed seeing 'lol' now i have a good emoticon to represent 'lol' on my msn -lol- -lol- -lol- -lol- -lol-

I'm fine with using a few like 'rofl', 'wtf', etc, but in small does. Over using those, or using a bunch of different ones gets annoying fast.

I don't use lol or anything although i do sometime use talk like BTW but only if i really can't be bothered to type. I find it ok if used in small amounts although if somebody uses all the time in every post it does get really annoying.

i crack a lot of jokes when am chatting on IM's..so thats one of the reason why i use 'lol' a lot just to let the other person know know not to take things too seriously :lol:

No. Absolutely not. Chat speak, l33t, anything of the sort bugs the living hell out of me. My tolerance level for it is *very* low. I will fail to take you seriously more than likely if you use it.

I occasionally use LOL or lol and that's pretty much it beside "Noob" or "Newb".

It's ok in small doses, and as long as it's surrounded by a proper and intelligent sentence, including grammar. I'll use "lol", "lmao", "wtf", "srsly" and a few others, but my usage is very basic and limited.

The only "chat speak" that I really use are "lol" and "brb". Anything else is pretty rare.

Yeah, same here. I say "lol or LOL" "brb" "wtf" and sometimes even "newb."

The only things I use are "lol", "lmao", and abbreviations such as "BTW", and "omg". I hate it more than anything wen ppl tlk lyk dis. I also dislike those winkie smiles such as ";(", "", ";O". I don't know why. I guess they just look immature to me.

I use pretty much every thing like that, but I find that annoying too. ^^
Sometimes I do it for fun when I'm not acting serious, but I don't like people who fail at a lack of spelling and grammar when they post.
