Nah, (though I did try that once, got slapped ~confuse~ ) I usually get their number first and text them. Best way for me, because everyone knows who I am (in the high school anyway), so there's not that "wait, who are you" type thing. Sometimes i'll go for the "Hey", sometimes for the "Hai", sometimes with the "Guess who?". Either way, you can tell right off if they go for it or not ~razz~
Girls arn't known to make the first move, but my current girlfriend has had her eye on me since we met waaaay back in preschool >.> so it was more of a random thing to me. She was like "hey guess who I like?" and I replied as a guess "Meh?" and then she said "Good guesser 😵" and it went from there ~cool~

I dont hit on girls. I find that to be a desperate move that usually creeps the girl out. You just talk to them like you would a friend and if you are charming enough, one thing will lead to another within time. -8)-
I dont really to chat up lines, i more or less go over sit down start talking to them...make them waffle on as they like doing that. Then when they say your a good listener or nice talking to you i say want to get a drink so we can carry on this chat? And yeah.
For me, I don't like to beat around the bush...instead like to go straight in for the kill. Normally something like...
