The theme.
To start things off, I really think your theme is a very big strength of your forum. It is very colorful, and a bright and warm color scheme seems to fit the genre your forum is in. Your forum's color scheme features blue, green, yellow, and white. Personally, this attractive combination of colors makes me think of Spring. On top of this, I feel like the board icons finish off the style well. I really like the font. Maybe you could utilize this same font in the logo? Overall, I think your forum has a beautiful theme.
The activity.
Considering your forum has only been open for sixteen days now, I feel like your forum has had pretty good activity. As of right now, your forum has a total of 1,177 posts in 205 topics by 41 members. This means that your forum is averaging about five or six replies per topic. That is something that will need to be improved as time goes on, but I feel like this is just because you have been working very hard to get a lot of discussions going by making an abundance of topics. This is good to do with your forum starting out, but hopefully, the topics will come in naturally when your forum takes off. This also means your forum is getting about 500 posts a week. I think that is very impressive. A lot of forums start off well and then quiet down though, so you need to try your best to prevent a large drop of inactivity when your forum is no longer new. Overall, I think you have done a great job keeping your forum active so far! It is clear that all of your staff members are working hard.
Weaknesses:
The logo and favicon.
To be honest, I feel like the logo is the biggest weakness on your forum. The icon on the logo looks fine and matches the forum well, but the text on the logo is very unappealing. First of all, the color of the text is bland. The gray text does not match the colorful theme. I think you should change the text color to green or yellow. I feel like it would match the theme a lot better. Next, why doesn't your forum have a favicon? I think this is essential to any website. You need to work on getting one. Maybe you could shrink down the icon of the logo to 16x16 pixels and make it the favicon. It is great when the favicon and logo match.
The board layout.
Your forum has seventeen boards in four categories. Seeing as your forum just opened up sixteen days ago, I feel like your forum has too many boards. While activity is decent, I do not feel like your forum can support seventeen boards right now. A condensed board layout is usually the better way to start out a forum. Whenever you first open a forum, you are bound to have a few inactive boards at one point in time, so it is best to have a low amount of boards. No one likes to see inactive boards. It is very unattractive to potential members. Anyways, I feel like you could easily merge a couple boards. For example, is it really necessary to have an entire board for movie trailers? I think that would be better as a sub-board in the "Movie Discussions" board.
Final Remarks:
Chatable is a general discussion forum that has gotten off to a great start. With decent activity and an attractive theme, I expect your forum to continue to grow if you keep working on it.
