First Impressions: (12 out of 15)
On first impressions, the forum colors are easy on the eyes, and I like the banner that you had made for the forum. The odd thing is how wide the forum appears to be, even with the sidebar included. I have never seen a theme like yours, include a sidebar, thus making it seem a little crowded around the index of the forum. A plus, is that I don't see ads plastered all over the place on your new IP forum, which really shows to me that you don't care about attempting to immediately offset the costs of the forum, till you are ready to do something like that.

Looking through your forum, the large majority of your boards appear to have short descriptions. It may help to expand on these a little bit, to help give people better ideas on what they can post, in each board. In some of your posts, I have seen several sentences without periods, try proofreading some of your official posts for this potential issue, as it will help make your forum look more professional.

Also, I recommend that you re-think on the description of your introductions board, as that might suggest to some new members, that that is where they can post topics to discuss stuff, based on the way you have worded the description.

With your Forum Guidelines, I suggest adding some clarification examples to a few of your Forum Rules, and a few possible re-wordings, as some of them either are not completely clear, or do not make complete sense. One to look at, would be #6 under Terms and Conditions, as I am not entire sure what you are referring to, in regards to "site activities".

Also, I think you should move the Promotion Board to a better category, like the CF Community Category. It doesn't really belong in the Entertainment Venue.

I recommend that you reduce the forum width by a percentage point or two, or by increasing the borders by an another 5 px. By doing that, the index of the forum will not have a crowded feel to it, as it does now. The Who was Online Box, needs a little spacing for the users portion of it. Try adding 5px to that box's spacing.

Originality: (10 out of 15)
As far as originality, your board names are pretty unique, so good job! Though I recommend adding more topics to help make your forum stand out more.

Overall Mark: (40 out of 60)
I believe that your forum has potential. If you do your best to do the above, and to do extra to improve your forum, it should take off quicker than the average new forum!

I was interested in what you would think of the colour scheme. It was a choice between a blue design or this red one. Not sure how to change the width but could ask the theme designer. There is a fluid width setting that I could try out as that width can be changed. Good spot, I would never have noticed the crowding as I have everything big on my PC to see it all. Not interested in adverts right now but may allow members to add them further down the line to help costs.

Yeah I decided on this occasion to go with shorter descriptions but think you are right on this and will take a look on improving them. I am told I harp on a bit sometimes so will also look at my post content and try to improve on that.

Good spot on the introductions area.

I have thought about having those guidelines as one rather than separating them into two sets of rules. It does need some work on it, thanks for pointing it out.

I like the idea of the website promotion moving to the Community section.

The who's online box, do you mean adding 5px inside the box above the members names?

Great to hear. Yep working on the case with more topics to come as and when I get the time off work.

It was lovely to receive such feedback. I can see that you've taken your time looking over the forum and finding little and big things that could make a difference to a member joining from a guests point of view. Hard to do for me as I'm inside the box. I will look into making changes as and where I can. Thank you so much for your time and opinion on the matter, much appreciated.

I have one question, not sure if you can answer or this should not be part of the review but if you can...with the forums I have set up now do you feel there are any missing that could be a good addition?

I don't mind the color scheme. I like grey and red. Maybe you could put forums games as a sub-forum in the general chat section. As it doesn't contribute to the forum. Could you make chat addict or regular a different color like Green? To identify who is what easier. An average of 30 posts per day is OK, could be improved on. But your working on it which is good to see. Have you thought about having social media? Or having affiliates for other forums? They could benefit your forum. I suggest making the who was online section bigger because it looks like all the text is crammed in together.

I like the idea of the forum games going as subforum under general chat, may do that with the jokes one too. Chat Addict and Regular do look very different so won't be changing them. I do have FB connect, not added Twitter yet. The website promotion is set up for affiliates. I will have to have a chat with the Who's Online developer as I am unable to change that myself.

Thanks for your comments. 😀

At this point? There isn't much you can add board wise, and I would need to dig through stuff over at IPB that might go well with your forum, before I can make that type of suggestion. 🙂 Maybe I can go look for something tomorrow.

That would be great, thank you! 🙂

I think the colors on your forum are pretty cute. They blend well and they're easy on the eyes. The font is cute as well, I just usually don't like reading things in a don't similar to what your forum has. You also seem to be doing a good job keeping all the sections updated with new posts. Good job! 🙂

Ah okay, thanks 😀

I really like the colours used and the look of the forum. It is a nice relaxed and calming appearance which is great for a general discussion forum. I also like the names for your forum sections, some of them are really nice and creative. Content wise, the forum looks to be doing well 🙂. Good luck with the forum
