Your Forum Review

First Impressions - (Out of 20)
Having to register to see the board is a huge turnoff to many guests. You also don't have your link in a very conspicuous location (I found it, but some people might not be able to). The registration process, in my opinion, is a little too lengthy. Some of those fields should be optional. Your site also looks pretty nondescript. Most of your forums are very close to being empty, and your stats are also fairly low. The style is also very basic, and does little to make your forum stand out from others. My first impression was overwhelmingly negative, I'm sorry to say. To make your forum look better to prospective members, you must make it so that guests can see the forum; put the link in a more conspicious place; make the registration process less lengthy; and fill up those forums that are close to empty.

Site Layout - (Out of 20)
Your layout is... overwhelming! Your index is on the lengthier side, and none of your forums are divided into categories. Your layout makes browsing your forum a herculean task. The first thing I notice is that you have a forum for Harry Potter. The theme of your forum seems to be chat, so I don't think it necessarily makes sense to have a forum dedicated to Harry Potter on the index. You might have it as a sub-forum under another forum, but I don't see any reason to have it on the index. I don't think your layout in general works as it is, though, and I think you need to reorganize. Try using some categories to divide forums up (headquarters, general forums, etc.) and using more subforums (have Media, Gaming, etc. under one "Entertainment" forum or something of that nature). This would make navigating your forum MUCH easier, which is the goal of any layout.

Forum Statistics - (Out of 20)
According to my rough calculations, your forum currently has less than fifteen posts per day. I cannot comment on the amount of members you have, as I don't see a definite member count. As for the amount of posts you have per day, there is definitely a lot of room for improvement. First of all, I recommend you address some of the issues in the "First Impressions" section of this review to make your forum more user-friendly. Furthermore, I recommend that you take advantage of post exchanges to make your forum look more active in the beginning (which will look good to prospective members). After you do these things, you should be ready to begin advertising your site. The services on promotion forums, such as banner ads and other services with a high amount of exposure, will be very valuable to you.

Staff Moderation - (Out of 20)
As far as I can tell, you are the only staff member at the moment. That's fine, as you don't have enough activity right now to demand additional staff members. You also appear to be fairly active on the forum. Be ready to hire additional staff members if your forum begins to grow.

Spelling and Grammar - (Out of 20)
None of your forum descriptions have periods after them. I also wouldn't recommend using abbreviations (such as "comps" for "competitions") as it gives the illusion that you are lazy. You also have several grammar mistakes on your index. You have several capitalization errors (common nouns capitalized in the middle or at the end of sentences). I would also recommend making your descriptions more creative. The descriptions you currently have don't look like they took much effort, and may look bad to prospective members. They may think that you don't care about the forum. I think that your spelling and grammar definitely need to be addressed on the index.

Final Remarks:

What was most liked about the website/forums: You have no staffing issues, which is a good start.

What was disliked most about the website/forums: Your activity is probably the worst quality of your site.

How could I get you (The Reviewer) to join my website? You just need to address some of the issues I pointed out in the "First Impressions" section, and your forum will be a LOT better.

I would definitely like you to request a review in a month once you have addressed some of these issues (if you wish to, of course) so that I may see your progress. 🙂
