Yes again but hopefully for the last time. I'm going to email support over the weekend for a copy of the database and we are making the FINAL move to phpbb. I like phpbb the best of all of the software and I'm thinking of hiring a couple tech admins. I didn't plan on it being this difficult. We will keep you updated on the details. I apologize for any inconvenience

Since we are having trouble with all that's going on the official launch of Chatting Time is postponed until further notice. All post exchange deals are still on.

Oh, I am glad the move is not starting over from zero. If you are planning to get the database it makes sense you want to continue posts exchanges. I hope everything goes alright with the move to phpBB.

I exported the files so we'll see how it goes. Once I have a home in might need help restoring the files

Cancel plans we're staying at Proboards till we can figure out what to do. Didn't think it was going to be a rigamaroll. Maybe it's a sign were doing something right by going to Proboards in the first place. For one, your login name cannot be the same as your display name, so that already saves you from being hacked

I think it's an good idea to own your own host server with your choose of forum software

Always make sure passwords for the super admin and also the cPanel (or whatever else) are very difficult. Use copy/paste if you can't remember them.

Aside from strong passwords, regular software updates cannot be overlooked. That keeps a place from getting hacked.
