Anyone know which is the cheapest legit site to buy domains? needs to be a .com domain too

I would recommend you namecheap.com or name.com

but the cheapest is 1and1.com but I think it takes 3 days to get your domain...

1and1 is probably the cheapest and worst place you could buy a domain. I suggest you just buy ones from the more reliable places such as Namecheap($9.98), GoDaddy($12 but with promo code "bacon3" 7.99), and some other reliable ones.

Are they good Kavin? I mean tried them? There got to be something of a downside registering on them?

Its a good site. I have 2 domains there, and when i own script installs, it used to be there.

Never had a problem with them.

Can you move a domain you registered there right away to namecheap for example? Or can you after a certain period of time?

If you had to compare namecheap to that registar what would be the main differences?

I guess they have a 60 days time constrain before moving domain to another registrar. Not sure though.

And I don't find much difference between Namecheap and this. Maybe the domain control panel is better in Namecheap. But not so much though.

Namecheap are pretty good. 🙂

Fiery Duck also offers domains for £6.49/year (around $10.09/year).

Namecheap is pretty good and cheap. They have occassional offers, sometimes half price domains or even less. They have sweet competitions; I've won 2 free domains and a bit to fund a 3rd domain.

100% internet.bs

I've got about 20 domains registered with them. I liked them soo much that I moved my domains I had registered at godaddy and namecheap over to internetbs, still have some at a different registrar but as soon as they're due for renewal they'll be moving too 🙂

1and1 is the cheapest $5

But unless you never want any support, want automatic rebills without asking and you love pointless obstacles to transfering your domain out, go with godaddy.

NameCheap and Name.com are the best to manage but yes internet.bs is really cheap but not that easy to use for me.

I would concentrate more on a decent provider than a cheap one, that being said namecheap is a great registrar and one of the cheapest too 🙂

They have great support.
