Cheated On

If the person you are in a relationship with cheated on you, would you forgive him/her or break up with them? Does it depend on the circumstances or will it be an automatic breakup?

Well it depends because cheating on someone is taken in several ways. We are all different from each another, we have our own feelings and we have our own thoughts. I would prefer to know the situation first, and what my fiancée done with that other guy but if it is a really close friend she has grown up with I don't mind because I grew up with a best friend and she still is and we are very very close. If it is serious and she has had sexual intercourse and any of that stuff, I couldn't take it. I am sure several people will want to know the situation before they either break up or take consequences of having s/he back.

I'd probably end it instantly. It would eat me up inside looking at my GF and knowing someone else has "been there" while we were in a relationship.

For me, it would be an instant break-up and a pissed off one at that. There is no excuse for such things. If you do not want to date somebody, then thats fine, but just tell them instead of playing pathetic mind games.

Its not the guys fault if he didnt know she was in a relationship..

If he did know that she was dating someone and got with her anyways, then thats a different story.

Yes but would you continue to trust them? What if they slept with one of your family members or something?

If my GF cheated on me, i wouldn't know what to do. She's my everything. Nothing else has as much meaning to me as she does.
