of this spider.

This female orbweaver has been living next to my garage for the past month or so, she is around 5 inches long and probably going to give birth soon.

That is a cool looking spider 😀, is it poisonous?
The "Argiope" and "orbweavers" aren't poisonous(to humans that is). I have encountered these spiders a good bit over my years as a gardener & landscaper. Some of them get fairly big and from what I've read about them they will bite. I usually see them in the tops of hollies and other shrubbery or along the corner of a house.

Looks good, but anyway spiders are not my favorite animals 🙂~

arachnophophia anyone? Spiders aren't my favorite.

Me either, I'm petrified of them. A wood spider ran across my bed last month, I jumped up and kneed my dog in the face trying to get away. I was surprised to read how common those Orbweavers are, and that they get to be 5" long.
