So, I am currently chilling at work monitoring the game room able to browse FB, talk to my girlfriend, post on here, while working. I love my job sometimes.

Do any of you have nice perks to where you work? (Exclude pay/vacation, this if for on the clock unadvertised perks)

Well, I do freelance development work for a local bookstore, but yeah, it's pretty great 😀

I am occasionally allowed to use the restroom.
Sometimes, they let me sit down for twenty consecutive seconds while I'm on the clock!

At my work I get to use a computer all day. We get in trouble if we are caught without our computer with us.

I get access to some websites on my lunch. Pretty lucky that my forum is included, alot of sites get blocked! Metal Tavern, Wober, and here aren't though 😀

I don't get to do any of that unless I'm on break. If you do, you're not working.

I love my job(s)...

I can work from anywhere I like, on the fly if I feel like it.

Freedom is a good thing 🙂

I have a lot of freedom. I provide on-site IT to several offices for a small healthcare company. Sometimes it's a lot of driving but it's all updates really. I get to surf the Internet and post.

I work for Volkswagen. 1 week per month paid flights to Sydney for training at the Volkswagen Group Australia headquarters, all meals and accommodation paid for, $40 million headquarters building with state of the art facilities and security to match. Yeah this is the dream job.

I have a main job and a secondary one which just helps out at times.

My main job is just debugging, installing and testing software created by our company for other companies. Some days it can get really busy, but others I can have some free time.

My secondary job is basically just helping out some friends with their site and helping to promote them. Lots of free time in between.

Well I'm contracted as a consultant so I get the perks of working from home at my leisure barring a client meeting/interaction. No clocked hours, just a set scope of services to perform.

The downside is you get stuck with both ends of your FICA taxes. 🙁
