Do you use your phone while its being charged? Apple woman was electrocuted by a iPhone 5 while it was being charged
I tend not to use the phone while being charged, Its one of the most stupid thing to do, at least at my place where the electricity fluctuates a lots of times every day. What about you?
Re: Chinese woman killed by electric shock while using iPhon
While its very sad to see this happen, I wouldn't blame it completely on the iPhone.
She was wet, reportedly, when she answered the phone. We all know wet stuff and electronics don't mix. She coulda been using a fake iphone 5, but more likely she was using a fake charger.
But, it is also possible everything was genuine and something just happened.
I always use my iPhone phone charging and don't have a problem, and nobody else should have a problem either.
Re: Chinese woman killed by electric shock while using iPhon
In a statement given to TechNewsCentral, an Apple spokesperson said ”We are deeply saddened to learn of this tragic incident and offer our condolences to the Ma family. We will fully investigate and cooperate with authorities in this matter.”
Re: Chinese woman killed by electric shock while using iPhon
Another iPhone explosion in China.
No fake chargers were involved according to the reports. The woman was talking on the phone which lasted for around 40 mins, and then it suddenly exploded injuring her eye!
An Australian woman was injured last month after receiving shock from iPhone!
Re: Chinese woman killed by electric shock while using iPhon
An S4 exploded and the main claims it blew up his house!
And the story above by exploiter, she dropped her phone and chipped/dented it and that's where it exploded. Nonetheless it shouldn't it exploded. I'm also betting she used a fake charger. Caused the battery to do something funny and explode.
I wonder what these people overseas are doing to their phones.
My bet is its Samsung parts in the iPhone that's making it do this. 🙂
Re: Chinese woman killed by electric shock while using iPhon
Very sad story.
I wonder if she used a rubber or non-metal case to protect her phone would it prevented her from being electrocuted since plastic, rubber, wood, etc don't easily conduct electricity.
Re: Chinese woman killed by electric shock while using iPhon
Chinese woman? Is it from China? If its so then I think the main problem should be the electric circuit in place. Probably not well wired or its not connected back to earth.

So its China? They would need better talents to fix those wires then! 🙂
Neh Samsung has nothing to do with it. Unless Apple is packed with Exynos SoCs, Samsung has no link with this incident, which is no. Samsung only supplied the LCD screens which fore known as, "Retina Display".
