Do you think chivalry is dying? Why yes or no?

Is it necessarily bad that it's dying? What do you think we could do to improve overall being chivalrous?

I pride myself on my chivalry 🙂
I always open doors for other people, allow people to go in front of my in a line, open the car door for any lady getting in and out of my car, and offer my coat if someone with me is cold. I think is a great thing to put the comfort of other people before my own. I was born and raised and live in the southern usa though, so that trait is fairly common in the regions where I have lived.

Pretty much what the poster above me said. It's fairly common in the south where I am. It's not dead completely though it does seem like it's dying.

I see this daily down here in Alabama. I even hold doors open for people, etc.

It's called being polite. It's how we were raised. 😛

I'm pretty polite. I hold doors open for people most of the time, unless it would be awkward to do so (really depends on how far away they are from the door, and how cold it is outside. The colder it is, the more warmth you let out of the building by holding the door open. 😛)

Sorry, just had to throw this in!

Life before death!
Strength before weakness!
Journey before destination!
