They are! Just gotta get some treats and toys, stuff 'em in their stockings, and they're all done! (At least until December 1st when I do advent calendars with them.)

I've started to enjoy them in the last few years! This year, I'm doing a coloring book one for myself, the cat is getting a treat a day from a calendar I found online from a retailer that I've seen their products on TikTok, and the birds are getting a DIY treat calendar.

I wasn't planning on posting photos, but I can!

Cat and birds? Do they get along?

More or less. The cat is older (14), so she's a lot more docile. She definitely shows interest in them, but we've taught her that birds are friends, not food (unless it comes in a can or a pouch), so she doesn't really mess with them. When no one's home, they're separated so nothing happens.

Mostly, she's just jealous of the cockatiel when the bird gets attention and she doesn't lol. It goes both ways though, so the cockatiel also gets jealous of the cat when the cat gets attention.

My parents have two small dogs and hate it when I give the other one attention 😂
