Are there any specific family traditions that you and your family follow every year? If so what are they?

We generally wait till about lunch time to unwrap presents, and watch A Christmas Story before hand.

We decided that starting next year we are going to allow the kids to each open a gift on the night of Christmas eve. Inside that gift will be a new pair of pjs and some snacks. They will also have a joint gift which will include a movie (probably a Christmas one) and we will all sit down before bed in our new jammies and eat snacks and watch a movie🙂

We did the unwrap a present or two for a number of years, but we decided to stop that, due to some wanting to unwrap everything right then, instead of waiting till the next day.

We carry on the time honored tradition of NOT exchanging gifts and just having a nice day (and meal) with the family instead. 😛

Thanksgiving round 2, as I call it! :cheer:

Most of us don't have the money.

I don't need anyone to buy me anything anyway. If I want something bad enough, I'll get it for myself.

Well there are not really any special things. We just have dinner together as a family and that's it 😀
