It was Christmas day yesterday. The streets were full of people asking for something from the motorists. They are taking advantage of the festive atmosphere. It's really sad to see that our place has become a city of mendicants during the yuletide season.

Spent time with the family yesterday and the day before. Though anything I would have liked to get, I couldn't as all the businesses were closed for Christmas.
I've spent the past two days spending time with relatives and loved ones who due to distance, I don't get to see regularly and it was amazing to all be together. That said , I didn't see anyone asking for anything off motorists, it was quite quiet here 😛
There has always been a group of panhandlers who come out during the holidays because people are shopping a lot more around that time. Bigger crowds, more people with cash on hand, means they might be able to score some money. I think if you want to help the less fortunate, particularly this time of year - there are top flight charity organizations you can donate to as a better idea.
