CincyForums.com hosted a forum discussing general topics concerning the City of Cincinnati and other topics of interest to webmasters and programmers. As of September 2, 2013 the site enjoyed an Alexa Traffic Rank of 946,654 and a Google PageRank of 2. CincyForums.com is officially closed and the domain name is for sale. The asking price is $1,250 USD.

Update as of November 7, 2013: make an offer in USD.

CincyForums.com is best viewed using Google Chrome.

Yes, I have over burdened myself with too many web projects and could not devote enough time to keep Cincy Forums active.

Why close the forum though on your members? Did you still have active members?

1250 for a forum you killed? You should have left it up, much easier to sell that way.

To RSNF: There wasn't any active users anymore posting local content for the City of Cincinnati.

To Guardian: Well, I have rationalized that whoever wants the domain will be more interested in implementing their ideas on how a forum for the City of Cincinnati should be. Thus, there is probably a stronger inclination for potential new owners to design and build a new site from scratch.

Anyway, I did build up the domain to a PR4 site, then it dropped to a PR2. I think some of the content was archived in the Wayback machine.

Please read my PM. Thanks.

Well done on dropping the price. Nobody would have ever paid $1250 for it!
Good luck with the sale though. You're probably looking at less than $100. 😉
Google PR and Alexa don't make a domain name worth $1250 and the fact you closed your forum makes it instantly lose value so I feel you ought to know this.😎

Thanks for your suggestion.
