In the decade of 1980s, one singer with an advocacy for the LGBT is Cindi Lauper. Maybe that advocacy can be sensed with the song Girls Just Wanna Have Fun because indeed, those kind of girls can have their own fun. That hit song was followed by True Colors and then Money Changes Everything. Lauper has a lot of hit songs that’s why it is a wonder why she stopped making albums. Maybe she didn’t like the slant that she was competing with Madonna.

Cindi Lauper is incredible. I loved her energy whenever she got up on stage. True Colors is amazing. It reminds me of my childhood so I love listening to it.
