I'll tell you right now, here in the US, if you aren't circumcised, at least at my age and in my generation, you're considered a huge weirdo/outcast. You won't be doing much attacking or wrapping/whacking, to say the least. Trust me, I know of people who aren't circumcised.

Are you actually suggesting that a baby that's less than a week old should decide whether they're circumcised or not? :lol:

I worded that poorly, but I meant to say that if the parents of the child want to do it, then they should. Sure, there are risks involved, but as others have stated there can also be some benefits, and more likely than not the procedure will be fine.

And does anyone really think there's many men out there thinking to themselves, "Dammit, I really wish my dick was uncircumcised. My parents are heartless assholes."? Depending on where they live, the parents are most likely going to choose whichever choice is most common (circumcised or uncircumcised), so unless on the off-chance that something does go wrong with the procedure, I don't think the guy will be complaining later in life.

I am strongly against circumcision. No baby should have to go through the trauma they do when they get circumcised.

Hygiene purposes? Such a load of sh1t, if you think cutting off a part of your peni s will make it cleaner you are completely wrong, sure, if you are that lazy you can't take two seconds out of your day to pull back your foreskin to clean it.

The only reason circumcision should be performed is if there is a medical reason for it to be removed.

I find it funny that people say "Oh, the ladies love it, and it feels so much better for both of us". How would you know? You had that part of your peni s removed at birth you wouldn't know what it feels like to have a foreskin.

Either way, i am strongly against it, it should never be performed on babies, if you want to do it when you are older go ahead, but no one should be forced for it to be done.

I think subjecting a child to un-needed pain and risks from surgery when not needed is just cruel!

Don't be lazy, teach your child how to wash properly.

Im american & im circumcised, and I dont have any problems with my parents deciding to do that, as all boys in my family has gone through it. As for what Irviding wrote, I never heard of anything like that, probably in your neighborhood 😛

Yes, at least at the high school level. Girls talk about that stuff all the time.. "ewwww so and so isn't circumsised" etc. etc. Just go with what the social norm is for your area I guess is the best choice.

Is it right that parents feel inclined to mutilate their children for the sake of social conforming? Absolutely not, and I fail to believe that said children will be continually judged and perceived as odd simply because their genitals are different.

As I mentioned in my argument anyway, there are several reasons why being uncircumcised is superior other than social conforming, such as sexual satisfaction. I don't see why a few unlikely high school years in a small amount of areas should hinder your adult sexual experience.

I just got off the phone with my 16 year old cousin (who is in high school), I asked him about that he laughed. He said that people dont talk about that kind of thing.

America needs to catch up with the rest of the world.

In Australian circumcision is banned in all public hospitals and only available in private hospitals making it extremely rare now days for babies to be circumcised.

In the UK it's highly uncommon.

Most of Europe do not circumcise anymore.

In New Zealand and Canada it is also very uncommon, more so now days in Canada.

The only places who circumcise on a regular basis is the USA, Philippines, South Korea, and a few other countries.

Don't you think it's time to catch up with the rest of the world?
