Citing images and articles?

I have a question that I have never really had answered.

For my blog, would I have to cite images I find from websites and Google if I were to publish the posts?

And

For my blog, if I have an article written by a game developer of a game company and I want to re-publish that on my website, can I do so and cite the author and link the the original post? Or does it just rely on their copyright policy?

If you do not want to have any copyright issues then you will have cite images.

Any article you published that is not original you must include a link to original article. When you re-publish a article you must have a source link or Google will think your are copying and may penalize you site.

Tip: It is better to write a original summery of article written by a game developer of a game company than re-publish. Google will devalue your site if you post lot of re-publish posts, since your site is not the original source.

I decided on citing recent images that have been recently released, and just quoting people and saying that they said it.
