I try to keep my clean with only applications i use a lot being on my desktop, and saving all files in my downloads folder (which is like 3 GB now, mostly just zips for themes, plugins for forums etc 😛)

I prefer a clean desktop but it always ends up messy. I clean it up when it gets really messy then a few days later it is filled with random text files with little bits of code and information in it and mp3's and other crap.

Mines in-between. I should really clean it, because it's looking not so great at the moment.

I clean my desktop, too many icons, files, etc.. can slow performance.
Plus it's just looks a mess if you have over 15+ icons on your Desktop.

Mine's horrbily messy at the moment ~lol~ (I'd screencap, however there's some files I rather not have public.)

In general, I like to keep my Desktop as clean as can be. I'm known to overload ObjectDock and the such with shortcuts though, it's my one weakness ~cool~

I have like over 20 icons on my desktop. But it's neatly in rows and doesn't look too messy because I have a darkish background.

I have a super clean lap top. Not even the short cuts are showing and I can't handle multiple windows open or too many icons in the task bar. It drives me nuts when there's too much going on.

But my pc, isn't exactly messy, but has more going on with it then my lap top. It wouldn't have anything on it except for the wallpaper if I had it my way but it's shared so I don't get all particular about it.

I just have the recycle bin, haven't really installed many applications apart from Open Office, anti-virus etc. and some maintenance applications.
