Does anyone use any of these to bring traffic?

Like EasyHits4U, you think it's worth it or no?

I agree. I don't think it will work that well and produce the results we all would like. I tried it in the past.

I haven't used it in forever, but thanks for all the feedback on the topic. I won't be going back to it. 😀

No, I believe in organic traffic!

But I make sure that I follow the key tips to drive traffic, and also I use IX web hosting to keep my site up.

The most effective way to get members on a small community or similar website is to promote your own personal brand, by being active on other, similar communities. That way, people know you and have a reason to use your website. If you are using a service like the one you mentioned, people won't know you, so probably won't stick around.

Out of the number of times I have tried such a website, where your site is displayed to a number of people for so long, before they can claim credit for viewing it, I have only gained 2 members that was initially active on one of the forums I had tried it with.

Those services don't work well on giving you more members, but will definitely help you fake traffic statistics.

I agree with Joshua. It will be very hard to get active members from that, but if you are looking to inflate traffic than that service should work.

Although traffic exchange sites generate hits but these are not much effective as traffic generated by exchange sites also destroy Alexa rank. If too much traffic is sent suddenly then for sure, your Alexa rank will damage.

I think it is better to promote your forum instead of using fake traffic. Not only does it increase your bounce rate but it also looks bad to have fake traffic.

The biggest issue i have with these types of programs, is that most people are doing the same thing as you, and a number of them will find ways to exploit the system to attempt to generate credits for themselves, so that more people are forced to see their websites. It never is a good thing, unless you actually have quality members that do not want to take advantage of the system.
