ClickBank Ads

That link actually has literally nothing to do with the title. It's just an eye-catching title, hence the description.

Yeah the better the title the more likely a user is on clicking it.

Hmm.. well myself like half of us will be blocking these ads, someone who is on Shared hosting shouldn't need to be using ads..

+1 for new colors or transparent. Can you customize it in any way? Add borders or something. It feels so blank and boring 😛

Why not? If you run an active online community then it's a great way to earn a steady income, why pay out $5-$10 each month when you could also be get a few extra $$'s back? Common sense to find a way if you have a large community.

Umm.. I think Fergal is steady enough in, income to dish out $5-10 dollars a month, And if he isn't why buy this community? When EFC was around no ad's were even THOUGHT of.

I don't mind them. I think it's a good to see that FP can lower the costs off of whoever pays for the hosting and domain. They just need to blend more with the banner is all.

Well one thing's for sure, I won't be blocking these ads at all, I've clicked once or twice too.

If you like FP and the service it provides to you, don't block the adverts. Simple.

They were and we had people sponsor the Basic Promotion forum and there was some other adverts on the site which brought in money.

We also offer domains to users in exchange for forum cash and ultimately there will be more we offer the members which all cost us money.

Hmm.. I guess so But Fergal does these contests on his business forum yet cannot do the domains for us? Hmm...

I actually like these ads better than the Frog ad, I had that one blocked but I unblocked so I could view these ones. I really like these and I have clicked a few already, so nice job Fergal on putting in some ads that actually relate to the forum content.

I think if you were to change the "category" to webmaster or something like that it would suit it a bit better. Or SEO and webmaster.

But I like FP's ads over ALL other sites ads, because these ones I will actually click.

No offense to you but you really need to understand that people have their own preferences. Some people like me will not even bother clicking or reading the ads, so we may as well block them so we do not have to see them.

Just because people block the ads doesn't make them against FP, we are all still here posting and bringing up FP's activity and that is worth more than any advertisement.

Creative, stop acting like you know best.
The ad's are okay to be honest, perhaps making them rounded? Also I am enjoying reading some of the articles.

To everyone whom has said they want the Frog Host one back, they paid for it too be up there for a certain amount of time.

That is his choice and only because he pays out money on one site doesn't mean he should do it on every site he owns. He still needs to raise money in order to give it out. Fergal doesn't have a money tree growing in his back garden.

umm 20k give-aways I would think it's a pretty decent money tree.

Or maybe he works hard for the money? It's not like Fergal gets it for free.

Exactly. It is his money and he can spend it how he wants and additionally just because he is giving away prizes, does that mean he is not allowed to earn anything?

That is like saying just because Apple are running a competition to win a free mac that they can't make any money elsewhere within their business like iPods.
