You can talk about the H1N1 virus in general, etc.

Re: H1N1 Forums

I think it's pretty smart for someone to make a forum based on current, world-wide discussions. The H1N1 virus is a nice topic for a forum at the moment.

Nice work on the forum, Shotgun. 🙂

Thanks Rok. I always enjoy trying something new. 🙂

Re: H1N1 Forums

It's no problem, bud. Don't give up what you're doing. Your forums are very great, and you definitely have implemented a lot of work into them. Nice work on the L4D forums too. 🙂

Re: H1N1 Forums

Pretty neat forum. The only problem I see is that when the swine-flu paranoia dies down, which it eventually will, I'm not sure what you'll do. Still, very good and original forum.

Re: H1N1 Forums

oh god, I am joining! I love debates on shots and such!!

Re: H1N1 Forums

I give you props mate.

You're taking a "health emergency" (as obama calls it) and turning it into an active forum.

Re: H1N1 Forums

Yeah, it sounds like a cool ride.
Clever forum idea and very unique, I think.

In other words, the forum will probably only last until the end of this winter.

What makes you think H1N1 will be gone by the end of winter?

Re: H1N1 Forums

Because the same thing happened with SARS, Asian Bird Flu and the like. There was a big hype that proved to be nothing.

It doesn't matter what happened with those previous diseases/flus. You can't base what happened to them and assume the same will happen to H1N1. Things aren't always the same. There's always new challenges to face in life.

Besides that, SARS wasn't "nothing." If you knew anything about it, it killed many people and was quite severe and deadly.

Re: H1N1 Forums

I think some doctors should be running forum like this.
Good luck with it though.

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I know it killed some people (<1000). However, I'm referring to what is of it today. Currently there is no worry about SARS killing tons of people, as the last reported case was in 2004.

I agree. Swine flu will, almost certainly, not be anything of importance three years from now. It is an original idea but forums based on current news events are bound to die off with the events they were made to discuss.
