I've used CloudLinux on one of my old VPSes. If you're wondering if it'd be good for FP, I think it would probably be more expensive than it's worth, unless you have a bunch of accounts on the VPS.
Technically, CloudLinux is very similar to CentOS. CentOS is the community version of RedHat Enterprise Linux, which cPanel is designed for. The main difference with CloudLinux is that it augments cPanel in a few areas, improving the separation between accounts and offering a few features with a PHP version switcher. The main benefit of CloudLinux is that it improves the separation between accounts in a cPanel enviornment. Very important for a shared server. Not so much for a private one. That's why I don't use it personally, but I would if I ran a host.
