I figured. 😛
Thanks Matthew.

CMT Sports at first glance has a brightness to it and far as the theme it is somewhat plane though I do like the banner. Perhaps a theme change but then again, if it works for the site, then no change needed. For me it's a tad harsh on the eyes. Content and layout are pretty good. The board has several sports updates in various categories that share the latest news in that sport (Hockey, Baseball, Basketball and Football) . The board is populated and has various sports coverage and discussion. The site also has an Off Topic section that is interesting. The site has 300 players/members in just over a year with 44,000 posts and 2,000 topics. The board seems active and the dialog between members can get pretty serious when it comes to various sports discussion and that is expected of any diehard sports fanatic.

Fiction Lovers has a fresh look and a banner that is appealing. I like the theme as it lays on the grey background. The site has an extensive writing section and holds periodic writing contests that members seem to participate in. The Fiction Area has a pretty good break down (Books, Movies, Amazing Authors and The Writing Section. What is concerning is the Street Corner section looks to soon over take the main purpose of the board and that is the Fiction Area. With 217 members, over 5,000 posts and 781 topics it's a board for an avid fiction fan. The board is a nitch board, i.e. it’s not a general board that fits nearly all.

Once again we have a challenge between two very different boards. Both with good content, both with growing stats. So how does one vote? For me I had to go with CMT Sports. The reason is, they have stayed on focus, they are a sports board and even in the off topic section sports is still part of the conversation. With Fiction Lovers the fact that the Street Corner with roughly 40 posts to go before it passes the site's main section that being the Fiction Area, is concerning in that the board may lose its focus.

Again, this is my perspective and others may not agree.

Fiction lovers. I prefer the look, feel, and content as opposed to cmt sports forum.
