Are they charging now?? This is a big Shock To me?? Does anyone els see this or am i Just seeing wrong.

Or if they are in high demand (ex google.co.cc)

Either way, they are complete shait (unless you are using a .co.nr or a .uni.cc), get a TLD.

Uhmm explain to me how uni.cc or co.nr is any better then co.cc?

I would think that co.cc's favicon and 'Powered by CO.CC!' is a big turn off.

A very old forum of mine that appears to have been killed by a spambot. Look at the favicon and 'Powered By CO.CC'.

That's because you are using the redirection service and not using DNS 🙂

If .co.cc is really charging for domains, you might as well purchase a .com or .net domain, which also appears much more professional, in my opinion.

Well they only charge after the first year.

Same with alot of other third party domains.

Ya if your hosting it right you won't have their favicon or or any powered by crap. I've lots of .co.cc domains which I use for testing forums and sites or if I'm making a site for someone and want to give them an idea what it will be like before they've purchased the domain etc. Basically anything short term.
Their's all still free for the first year unless they've being used before or they are high demand names (anything less than 4 characters popular names etc). If your serious about a site though get a propper .com domain.
