Quick question because I know some here will know..Is it possible to register a .co.uk domain and live in the US?

indeed you can with most hosting places 🙂

You can even get a host from the UK

Yes it is, although I think they're quite old and silly now because the shorter .uk is available looks way better in my opinion.

Anybody can register a .co.uk domain name from any country.

I would think so because I did register a .co.uk domain and I live in the US..

Unlike the .us TLD there are no restrictions registering a .co.uk.

The .us TLD falls under the Nexus Requirements Policy which apparently requires registrars to conduct spot checks to ensure that the registrant has a bona fide presence in the United States.

I have no idea whether or not they actually do this but it's something to be aware of I guess.

I have had .us domains and what I do not like about them is you cannot not make them private....All your info in exposed to the internet.
