When ever you want to create a linking image just use the following html code:

<a href="http://yourlink.com" target="_blank">
<img src="http://yourimage.com" width="330" height="248" alt="Image Alternative Text" />
</a>

Replace the 'yourlink.com' to your forum link and the 'yourimage.com' to the location you have hosted the banner.
