Hey,

Has anyone here used Code Guard? Is it safe to use?

Isn't this like CloudFlare?

No, its not. Cloudflare is a CDN and Code Guard is a backup service. Code Guard provides off site backups.

We offer it at Volact but it doesn't seem too popular in terms of sales. Seems like a good service though 😉

I actually had to look this up, because I had never heard of it before. It looks pretty cool though! What are the main competitors to this? I know a lot of people use backups through their host, but I don't really know of a lot of people who use external services, even though it's probably a good idea. 😛

holderhost uses cPRemote which I suppose is a bit like a time machine. http://cdp.me/ is an open source solution. You just need a vps / server to backup to. Been meaning to give it a go. 🙂

Well I have not used code guard, based my research its a back up and monitor service.

There are quite a few standalone backup services out there. For example, Backup Machine.

CodeGuard is offered through my web hosting provider. Does anyone have an complaints or issues with their service? Does it have any other features besides just backups? I may try it out over the weekend.
