So, just announced today, the website http://codecademy.com/ will be offering PHP as one of their selectable free courses.

All of the tracks are currently in the works with one being available at the time of posting. Will you be making use of it?

I will be, for sure.

I suggested that a while back because I have been with CodeCademy for a while now and I am very happy about them adding this!

I have also been with Codecademy awhile ๐Ÿ™‚ What is your profile?

That's actually an awesome username, keep it.

And I'm happy to hear this! I've been bored with HTML/CSS reviewing. ๐Ÿ˜›

Nice to hear that. Won't be usefult to me as i already know PHP, but i bet it help lot of people who wish to learn PHP.

I read a few Python lessons and they are quite easy to learn.

There's mine ๐Ÿ˜›

Looks like you read everything they offer. lol

I have completed 26% of python lesson. Hope to complete it soon. Ruby is the only other thing there that i don't know is Ruby. But i guess i won't try to learn it anytime soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

How's Ruby anyway Jake? Didn't even know how its syntax look like.

This is the first time I hear about this website. I like the idea of these free, interactive courses, so I might consider joining. I'm in the middle of learning the essentials of PHP as part of my university studies, and this might be a good place to broaden my knowledge.

I'm actually checking out the PHP courses, and probably gonna have a jab at them. ๐Ÿ˜›

I'm glad they are finally offering PHP tracks. I remember taking a look at Codecademy just because I was curious, and it seemed a good way to learn. Although this new track won't help me (I know PHP), I'm sure it will help many people learn the language.

Good luck to those who do decide to learn it. ๐Ÿ™‚

I've already learned a bit of PHP but it's always a good thing to learn more! I'll definitely be trying this soon!

They are gonna take some time to get more lessons made which I am perfectly fine with. I am currently working on Javascript.

I'm writing the part about Arrays. ๐Ÿ™‚

That's great. ๐Ÿ™‚
I thought about writing for control flow and loops. But my english is bad, and i don't think it will fit for the standard in Codecademy.

Good luck. ๐Ÿ™‚

Codeacademy is a pretty good website. I've been working with PHP for the past few years, but it never hurts to check it out. :info:
