Demo Account for reviewer (Supplied by requester): Not needed (I think).
Additional Notes: We may have a lot of staff but we all do our duties, without some of out staff the forum would be very different and because we generate new ideas, codes and skins it keeps us going. Yes 3 admins is a stretch but competing forums are spamming us quite often and we are all on usually at different times so now we can keep secure.

We are about to become 1 year old too! I would love ideas on how we can improve. :great:

Sorry about last time, got spammed, AGAIN.

Your Forum Review

First Impressions & Appearance

You have a lovely slick design which is light and easy to read. The eye flows easily down the page and is well planned. The blues and whites work well together, however there are so many blue forum styles around it would be nice to see some different colour styles. There are several things about your forum that do put me off though, the advertisement at the top of the forum is one of these things. The text logo is quite small compared to the height of the banner, I would like to see it a few pt larger.

I don't quite understand the second logo with the date on that is under the advertisement, I would suggest removing this, it is just in the way and makes the forum seem outdated as the date is from august.

The actual forum is well layed out but is too boxy for my liking, the category markers are nice and flow well with the theme tough. Small things like rounding corners can make a huge difference to the look of your forum.

The font on the statistics is really small, I would suggest size 12 instead of size 10.

Your URL confuses me a little, coderscom relates me more to computers than coding, why have you not used your forums full name for the URL?

Site Layout

Your board is well laid out with a good amount of posts spread evenly around the board. I honestly don't have anything to comment on here!

Statistics and Activity

Total Topics: 1,649 - Total Posts: 17,343
Last Updated Topic: Might get a nice check next mo... by Kenneth (Today at 5:37pm)
Total Members: 215

Your forum has been open for over a year and considering how well your forum is built these statistics really disappoint me. This is what I would expect from a forum that is a maximum of 8 months old, not a forum that is over a year old. The topic to post ratio is really low, which is a real shame. You need to work on getting more new topics created for your users to post in. 215 members, where of 17 active within the last 24 hours isn't too bad, but I would expect to see more from a forum of its age.

A posting or referral competition would give your forum an added boost at this time, at the same time I can understand the difficulty of gaining new members for a forum like yours, it is a small niche.

Staff Moderation

I was unable to find a staff list which made this difficult for me. You seem to have quite a few staff members who all seem active and posting. For a forum of its size I would have 2 admins and 3 moderators, if your forum gets a lot of spam and posts in the wrong place, a 4th moderator may be required.

I don't see any spam around the forums and I am unable to find posts that are in the wrong place. The forum is amazingly well moderated.

Spelling/Grammar & Professionalism

Your forum is professionally run but lacks amazingly in spelling and grammar. Such as:
Hello! Are you new or maybe just forgot to post your introduction? This is the place to let the community say hello! and learn more about you! The amount of punctuation and exclamation marks in these sentences needs to be looked at.
Use all that cash youÂ’ve gained
This is the board you will want to show your inner entertainment passion and have some fun. -grammar

I suggest getting your board proof read by someone.

Final Remarks

Your forum has great potential and a steady base to stand on. The important thing now is to not give up and to keep pushing the limits and willing forward. With some well used time and effort your forum will continue to grow and prosper.

I find it a real shame that you are on ProBoards and using free forum software which places ads and links on your forum. To grow you need to invest or consider moving to a different host and software.
