you know when people say that they want to affiliate with you they give you a code where do you put that.....more info i have my freeforum and phpbb3. how do you use the code and how do u add a portal please provide images that might help

Well with certain hosters you could put that code anywhere, but sense i dont know about phpbb3 on freeforums i dont quite no.

But, im guessing there should be a panel in your admin section that might supply portals.

also, one more thing for the code. you could post it in your footer. I think every forum hoster allows you to add things to the footer, just goto your admin panel then goto your template or your theme you are using then add it in the footer section.

Like i said i dont know anything about freeforums so i dont know if the things im telling you are the right thing or not.

The portal is coded out of HTML so you add html to the portal file.

Its a shame you can't add it the a forum decription on phpbb3 but it won't let you do HTML

You can make a new bbcode containing the html code for the affiliates and put the bbcode in a forum description.

Go posting ---> bbcodes ----> add new bbcode. In the first big box add something like [affiliates][/affiliates] and in the second box add the html code for the affiliates then in the forum description of a forum paste [affiliates][/affiliates] and it will load the html. As i know you probably won't be able to understand this i have made a screenshot for you to look at.

Make up 2 tags one opening and one closing (containing a /) like [affiliates][/affiliates] then everywhere you post that on your forum it will show the html replacement.
