So i recently downloaded a template with Div tags, and i was pretty impressed, anyway, i basically learnt everything with tables and now i am moving onto divs, and i must say, this is wayyy easier.

But, too get more into it, does anyone have any sites that will explain divs in more detail?

Cheers.

Well just keep practising with divs you get better and better- Then if you need any more advanced stuff google it.

Look at other people's page sources- That's how I learnt CSS and HTML.

You really aren't answering my question. I want a SITE that will teach more more advanced stuff about Divs.

Ok, sorry about my other posts.

W3 is the best website for divs, sorry if this didn't hep.

You're looking for the wrong thing. What you want to learn is CSS, which in turn will naturally teach you about coding with Divs. Everyone has individual learning styles / techniques so it would be hard to put your finger on one specific site that teaches everything.

Personally, I learned by downloading free CSS templates from places like OSWD or JustFreeTemplates, then butchering them up making my own changes such as adding my own navbar, adding columns, moving things around etc etc... . Give that a go, it should help you get to know what does what etc...

Try some of the following guides though, you might find them helpful:

http://webquirk.com/tutorials/CSS
http://www.tizag.com/cssT/

Thanks both of you. I've been messing around with the css on a style i downloaded, and man, does Dreamweaver make adding new stuff easy. Cheers for the links.

if you wanna get good at it don't reply on the program to do it for you. Learn how to code it hardstyle (so free hand) and only have to program as a safety precaution
