What is Codoforum?
Codoforum is an effort to make the Best Forum Software and make it available for free.

1. what is missing?
2. what has to be fixed?
3. something that can be improved?

You can either give a review about the website: https://codoforum.com or the software itself.
What do you think? All feedback is appreciated and will be used to improve the software and the website.

No offense, but it's a weird mess between paginated and infinite scrolling.
You either have one or the other. Heck, if you want to support both then, use a setting.

Let's take this for example. I can see what you're trying to do, I really can but I'm not sure that I like the layout which you've used for that page either.
You just seem to be overdoing it with the special effects a little.
For instance, to create this effect of each topic being it's own box.. It takes an awful lot of screen space.

This is all just my opinion, of course.

you are right about infinite scrolling, people don't usually like it, as it feels the page is not in their control.

we will introduce a setting where user gets to choose and the default value will be based on what most users have chosen. so the forum will learn and behave exactly as the user from that age group or niche will expect it to behave.

each topic being it's own box
we just display a teaser and not the whole topic.
This is a tested methodology used in UX engineering to impove engagement.

for example:
Some boys and girls were at a party one night. There was a graveyard down the street, and they were talking about how scary it was.

"Don't ever stand on a grave after dark," one of the boys said. "The person inside will grab you."

"A grave doesn't scare me," said one of the girls. "I'll do it right now. . . .and suddenly...READ MORE"
Now any user will be tempted to click on READ MORE.

providing a teaser tempts you to click on the topic and hence improve engagement in the forum.
