First Impressions
First impression is that you do not have a domain name and instead rely on a sub domain. I do not feel this benefits a forum. The theme has it's good and bad aspects which are detailed below.
Theme
First off the forum icons look dull and boring. Perhaps spice them up. Make them match the name of your forum perhaps a coffee mug? The links in the header don't seem to really suit because of the color of the menu links. Perhaps change it to a lighter color. You should think about making a logo instead of having a text logo. Check the graphics area for inspiration or check the marketplace and see if anyone can make you one. The username colors hurt my eyes especially for your coder group.
Content
The content is great and you seem to be filling the forums nicely. Perhaps focus on adding some more topics to the Off-Topic section "Talk, Talk, Talk!". And there are some topics that have been marked as important that do not have correct formatting as their titles are in small letters instead of the correct formal such as a uppercase letter for the first letter of the first word.
Overall
Overall if you continue to run the forum the way you are I see some potential. Keep up the advertising and the content. I wish you the best of luck with your forum.

The theme is just a bit plain for me to be honest. For me a more colourful or striking theme would be better to make the forum more exciting and to make it look interesting to join. I would also maybe reduce the amount of forums you have maybe atleast until you get bigger as a lot will be empty/not as active because you're small.
Honestly you have one too many boards. Some of those which have no content. I would recommend removing the less successful forums that your members are not responding to or posting in. The many forums that you have come off a bit cluttered.
The theme is very plain and you could probably benefit with some icons as well. I would suggest a more stylish or more colorful theme.
I would recommend that you invest in a free .ga domain. It's free and I'm sure you will benefit just as much rather than having a proboards.com domain.

On first glance, I'm not really a fan. That bright green and pink on a white background is extremely hard to read. Not to mention, the blue color blinds me as well. In addition to that, the banner area text is extremely bright and hard on the eyes as well. I'd suggest maybe changing that text to white since you have the shadow underneath it. At least then it wouldn't be so blinding and hard to read. Also, the title, "Coffee Break Time," made me think that the site would represent coffee in someway. You should look into getting or making a theme that's more related to--say--a coffee house or something to make it more unique and stand out. These are just some suggestions and knit-picks based on personal preference from a graphic and web designer with over ten years of experience. But, I wish you the best of luck Chels!

If I am correct, the site was created in May of this year? The number of posts your forum has, the number of members, and the number of threads is really bad. You should have over 100 members by now, more threads then you currently have and a lot more posts. Most of your members have only posted 1-15 posts and that's not that good. At this time it seems like the staff is mostly the only ones posting. While it is good that they are posting, you should try to find other ways to get regular members to post as well.

On to the site structure. The overall structure looks really bad in my opinion. The whole forum is messy, you have TOO many categories and most of them are barely even used. I think you should look into removing the boards that aren't posted in that often and ones that people aren't really interested in. If you don't know which ones to remove, I recommend creating a poll for the forum users to vote in on which ones they want to see removed or you could just create more topics in those sections and maybe find a better way to organize them all. Another thing I wanted to talk to you about was the theme. I am seeing a really bad default theme. The colors look bad, there's not really any design on the page, it's just white. The logo doesn’t look good (it's just cool text basically with a black glow behind it.) You should definitely change the default theme to something that looks better and look into getting a new logo created. If you can't create it yourself, there are many people on Forum Promotion that will create an awesome one for you and will only charge forum cash. 🙂

I'm looking at posts on the forum and the grammar is not that great. I see commas in the wrong place, words not capitalized, words capitalized that shouldn't be, no punctuation marks, etc. I personally think you need to work on that A LOT. If you are wanting people to take you seriously and if you're wanting a professional looking forum, you need to have good grammar, or people will just think it's a forum full of kids that don't know what they are doing. I know you know what you're doing and I know you have really great plans for your forum, so please do me a favor and work on your grammar. 🙂 I also think you need to look into making your forum descriptions longer. They are really short and some of them are a little bit confusing. If you need a little bit of help with what you should put In the descriptions, etc, feel free to message me and I'll be glad to help out. 😉

I am here to help you make your site the best that it can be and I truly believe If you take my advice and work really hard your site will thrive and become an even better forum than it was before.
