You know its bad when you realize our food is allowed to be messed with,but we still can't own a specific plant...

Oh well... the tides are turning.. maybe by 2016 it will be legal in all 50. Well I hope so anyways... Florida is one of "them" states....

It will be impractical for it to be legalized at a national level. Has to go state by state, since Obama is so anti-pot.

Let's just legalize it already. We can make billions of dollars in taxes for the government. We can also prevent another generation of peaceful people who happen to like using a substance that does no more damage than alcohol from going to jail with real criminals.

My thoughts exactly. The government acts like Weed is worse than doing meth when in reality, its harmless. I see weed more as a plant than a drug.

As much as I don't think legalizing it for recreational use is really "safe" I do think that the government can put a hefty tax on it just like they do for tobacco and make billions. What I have an issue with is if they tax the medical use of marijuana, that I have an issue with. The medical use should be fully legalized everywhere government wide. Recreational use however I think should be left up to the states legislature.
