Coloring your hair? :D

Has anyone else colored their hair before? If so, what color?

I had my hair blue, red, and blonde before. The blue worked the best, the blonde was just, ick, and the red turned into pink one week and then faded into a peachish orange the rest, it was just ew. 😛

I've colored my hair before. The first time was when I was 10 or 11. I bleached it and put pink in it. The second time I was 12 and it was because I wanted it back to my normal color. The third time was when I was 13. I was doing the school pageant that year so I got blonde highlights. The fourth time was actually a few month ago because I wanted highlights and they turned out bad so that same week, I dyed it light brownish and it turned blonde/red and that was the fifth time. Now I'm just waiting to either dye it to my normal color or for the dye to grow out. 😛

I've never dyed my hair before. I've had times were I'd be willing to do it, but I've never got around to it due to either being too busy or being in situations which wouldn't allow it. I'd dye it like blonde or blue, or perhaps just have a streak of blonde, idk.

Blue would be pretty weird, but I think It would look pretty cool, though.

I've seen people with their hair in various different colours and it was just ew. Just didn't work.

I am TERRIFIED to color my hair. Everyone in my family male as well as females who has ever dyed their hair their natural black hair color has not returned to its original state no matter how much they try to grow it back. I think it does something to your scalp. I like my really dark hair and I probably won't ever dye it - not even when I start graying. 🙂

I've never dyed my hair, but I have done highlights. Usually either blonde or red. I want to do chocolate brown sometime though. Someone told me it'd look nice with my hair color, so I figured I'd try it. (And I doubt it would look awful, haha.)

I've never dyed my hair officially, I did temporarily dye it blue but I don't count that lol.

I have also done highlights, usually a golden blonde color. 🙂

It doesn't do too much to your scalp, depending upon if you bleach it (which you probably would have to.) Usually after the bleaching process happens your scalp can get itchy but the best thing about bleaching your hair is you can easily get it back to your natural color by redying it all. 😛

Perhaps you're right, but I do not want to get caught up in that never ending cycle of being required to dye my hair over and over again just to get back to its "natural" color. lol Not interested. 😉
