I am now back after some more issues in life I mean this time big issues dark times but let's not get in to my personal life anyway,
What I am trying to do is when a inbox message,notification or any other data comes through just like on facebook for example it will come up the number of messages received and also the data itself gets loaded for it to be opened how do I do this could someone write a basic example I have never done this as I have only used intervals for a chat but I can also use the comet method for a chat system also since it's more inefficient
I be implementing that in to the site once I have done all of the server side and design development for the site hope someone can give me an example that's easy to implement and understand
I also offer a bonus 30FPs if it works for me
