Have anyone used Commission Junction before? What are your experiences if you have?

I just joined up on it last night, and I just love the fact that I can pick and choose the advertiser I want to advertise in their affiliate advertising. In which, after I get enough advertisers to accept my application to use their ads, I can basically set up my own personal ad rotation with all of the ads that I think will earn me the most money.

My father and I are hoping to use Commission Junction as a way to get a higher earnings amount through the ads being displayed on The Moral Liberal.

If you don't know what an affiliate program is, it is a program where you display an ad for a product or service, and if someone clicks on that ad, and decides to buy that product or service, you get either a percentage of the total purchase, or a predefined amount of money.

CJ looks like a good affiliate. I heard a lot of people had success with it.

http://www.linkshare.com/ is another good affiliate for people who want to advertise house hold brands like Walmart, Macy's, and Office Depot.

The averages I have seen with some of the top advertisers are pretty good. Some of the advertisers stats have the average earnings between 150 dollars to 1,200 dollars per 3 months. which is pretty good considering the fact that some of them have loads of people using each major advertiser there. So I hope to get on with some of them, and start having people click over to them to buy stuff, and personally earning a good commission off of them.

I am slowly getting accepted by the advertisers I picked, and had some rejections. probably because my account was new, or not exactly what they would consider as a site to have their ads on.

Haven't had any commissions yet, but have been getting some clickthroughs on the ads. 🙂
