Contest Information

Community of the Month is a monthly contest where members can vote on whose website or forum most deserves recognition. This contest merges two contests which we have previously held into a single contest, bringing a new take on this classic staple of Forum Promotion.

Each month, forums/sites are submitted from the 1st to the 15th, and voted on between the 15th and the 31st. Any site can be submitted, and the site with the most votes wins that month.

Voting Rules

• You must have made at least 15 posts on FP within the past three months to vote in CoTM.
• You may only vote for one of the sites listed below (which were submitted in the first half of this month).
• You may not vote for a site that you submitted to CoTM.
• You may not vote for a site you are an administrator on.
• You may not ask others to vote for a site you own, or are an administrator on.
• You may not create duplicate accounts, or use others' accounts, to vote for a site.
• Any other tactic to gain additional votes may result in the votes being discounted, and/or further action.

Contest Prizes

• Advertisements: The winning site will be featured on the Community Billboard for two months.
• Sticky: Your Promotion Directory topic will be stickied for two months.
• Recognition: A medal will be displayed on each post you make on FP for one month.
• Free Service: You will receive one free service of your choice on FP.

I highly suggest you all not click the link to Yaketys. It appears it might have been cracked into and defaced by someone. Hopefully Jazzy will come on tomorrow and let everyone know what's going on and when the site will be back up.

Hello everyone,

The forum was closed yesterday due to a major misunderstanding between myself and the owner ( Snog ). The misunderstanding has been resolved. I apologize to all of you for any inconvenience or concerns the board closure may have caused.

The forum is not in jeopardy of closing down for good any time soon. We are back up and running now. 🙂
