Contest Information

Community of the Month is a monthly contest where members can vote on whose website or forum most deserves recognition. This contest merges two contests which we have previously held into a single contest, bringing a new take on this classic staple of Forum Promotion.

Each month, forums/sites are submitted from the 1st to the 15th, and voted on between the 15th and the 31st. Any site can be submitted, and the site with the most votes wins that month.

Submission Rules

  • You must have 15 posts on Forum Promotion to submit a site.
  • For a site to be accepted, its owner (or an administrator) must be a member of the Forum Promotion community.
  • You are only allowed to submit one site per month.
  • All sites submitted must follow FP's acceptable content policy.
  • We reserve the right to accept or decline any site submitted to CoTM.
  • When a site wins CoTM, it cannot be submitted again for another two months.

Contest Prizes

  • Advertisements: The winning site will be featured on the Community Billboard for two months.
  • Sticky: Your Promotion Directory topic will be stickied for two months.
  • Recognition: A medal will be displayed on each post you make on FP for one month.
  • Free Service: You will receive one free service of your choice on FP, excluding the Kappa package.

We are currently accepting submissions until 5:00 PM (11:00 PM GMT) on the 15th of this month. To submit your community to this contest, please post the following form as a reply to this topic.

Thanks for the submission. For this month though, I think it's fair to interpret the "When a site wins CoTM, it cannot be submitted again for another two months" rule to include the SBM champion and runner up, since we canceled the last two CoTM months for the contest. Atrium and WATWD will both be ineligable for entry to this CoTM and next since they just won the SBM contest.

is a discord channel considered to be the same as a forum?
if so, kind of weird in my opinion despite the fact i get the resemblance but still, real forum is a lot different in many ways ๐Ÿ˜›
nothing against you personally nor trying to discourage you or so, i was just wondering ๐Ÿ™‚

Talking about this event specifically, there is no limitation to what kind of platform is being used. The aim is to find a growing community worth the spotlight. I'll let Dark Takua answers the rest. ๐Ÿ™‚

well if you put it like that gurl ๐Ÿ˜›
only reason i was wondering anyway is because discord is discord and not a forum/blog or your own website as i thought it should be, stated in the first post.
but if its all about community and not actually about those three terms than i get it ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the submissions. ๐Ÿ™‚ The voting thread will be up in a moment
